On A Happier Note

Today baby Emma was blessed in church.  It was a very special day.  Dad was in town, so Erica and Andrew decided to have the blessing this week instead of later.  Both of my grandmothers were there, and Lori and Andy and a lot of Andrew's family.  Andrew did a wonderful job with the blessing, and Emma was such a good girl.  It was funny because she woke up right before the blessing so my dad said that during the blessing she was stretching and making noises, but she was such a good girl.  And she was such a good girl while being passed around today.  She is so big!  And is starting to be awake more, so she is more fun to hold.  It was such a wonderful day, a very special day.

I am so excited to be an aunt to Emma.  To love her, and to hold her.  To read her books and to color with her.  To play dress up and play pretend.  To play outside and to make up games.  To hug her and to bake cookies with her.
